### Reactions with Multiple Reactants

In lecture, Dr. Lavelle went over how to find the rate constant for reactions with multiple reactants. At the end, he said that k[A]^N*[B]0^M*[C]0^L=k'[A]. Could you do this with B and C as well? ex. k[A]0^N*[B]^M*[C]0^L=k'[B]

Yes, you can do with any of the reactants as long as the other reactants are in large excess

you can do it to any other reactants, but they have to be large in numbers

Yes, this is so we can do simply calculations. Therefore, we assume that there's excess/large quantity of the other reactants such that their concentration is insignificant to the rate.
