How would u indicate molecularity when given step 1 and 2 for a rxn mechanism

You would give the molecularity of each step separately or if asked for the molecularity of the overall reaction you would go ahead and write the overall rxn from steps 1 and 2 and the write the molecularity of that overall rxn.
You calculate molecularity by counting up how many moles are in the reactants.

You can find the molecularity of a reaction by looking at the rate determining step, or slow step. The overall rate law if the rate law of the slow step, since this step determine the rate of the reaction. If there are two molecules reacting, then it is bimolecular. If there is three, then it is termolecular, and so on.

Molecularity is determined from each step in the mechanism. You can count up the moles of reactants in each to find this. If the molecularity of the overall reaction is being determined, simply add up the elementary steps and cancel any intermediate terms, then add the moles of reactants to find this.
