Arrhenius Equation

What is ln [A] in the Arrhenius equation, ln kr = ln A - (Ea/RT)

That equation is simply derived from a different one where the activation energy and gas constant and etc are all to the power of e. In order to make it a linear equation, it can be transformed into the one that you have typed. A is just the pre-exponential factor, its a constant.

A is the pre-exponential factor. According to collision theory, A is the frequency of collisions in the correct orientation.

Yeah, so A should be a decimal with 1 indicating that every collision results in a correct orientation and 0 indicating every time there is a collision, it is not in the correct orientation
