How can you find the activation energy from just knowing the order of the reaction and k?

You can find the Ea the value of k at two temperatures using the Arrhenius relation

in using the arrhenius how would you know what to plug in for A?

The A value or pre-exponential factor would be given to you in this case if you are trying to find the activation energy. It would also be the y-intercept in a graph of lnk vs 1/T.
