Using the arrhenius equation, how do we get the ln out from both sides?

lift both sides to e, because e^ln(x) = x

To get cancel out the ln function you have to raise e to the entire expression, so you would end up with e^(ln(k2/k1)) on the side with ln and this would cancel out to just k2/k1.

Just calculate both sides of the equation as a power of e and it will cancel the ln.
