Why in the solutions manual do they do (T'-T/T'*T) for the arrhenius equation?

Hi,

I'm not sure why it is like that in the course reader, but if you follow the actual formula where the temperature part is written as (1/T1 - 1/T2) you will get the same answer that is in the course reader.

Hmm... I have the same question. I got a different answer than the solutions manual by using (1/T1 - 1/T2). Are you sure both equations work? ^ Maybe I'm just calculating wrong... If anyone can figure out why the solutions manual used a different equation, I'd really like to know too!

Ahh, I posted too soon. It works with a common denominator (found this out here viewtopic.php?f=151&t=19676).
