### 9.61

For this problem I am confused why they have 1030K-1000K because the equation is (1/T1)-(1/T2) and this is the opposite of what they did?

The solutions manual changed the format of how they were calculating the value that describes the change in temperature. For me, it just made it more confusing so I did it as (1/T1 - 1/T2) and still got the same answer, so I would just suggest doing the method that is the easiest for you! Either way should work.
