Collision theory and transition state theory?

What are the most important concepts we need to know about these two theories? Thank you!

the collision theory says that gas molecules only react if they collide with enough kinetic energy, and the transition state theory says that the reactants form an activated complex, which is also known as a transition state

Also, the section in the textbook on collision theory discusses reaction profiles, which were also mentioned in class, so I think knowing/understanding those would be useful.
