IN an endothermic reactions the forward Ea is greater than the reverse Ea so will it favor reactants or products?

In an endothermic reaction, the activation energy barrier is higher for the forward reaction than the reverse reaction.

I'm a little confused on how the Ea corresponds to whether the reaction is endothermic or exothermic. Can someone please explain this to me?

For example, there's an endothermic reaction plotted on a graph where Gibbs free energy (G) is plotted against the progress of the reaction. The reactants would be at a lower G than the products. Thus, the activation energy for the forward reaction would be higher in the forward direction than in the reverse. Thus, if the activation energy is higher in the forward direction, you can assume it's an endothermic reaction. The same can be applied for an exothermic reaction. If the activation energy is lower in the forward direction, you can assume it's an exothermic reaction.

This question was answered in a newer post, so im just going to quote what that person said: 'In an endothermic process, the potential energy of the products is higher than that of the reactants. Its reverse process will be exothermic. In the endothermic process, the reaction must build up activation energy that is even greater than the difference in the two potentials. On the other hand, the exothermic process won't have to build up quite as much.
An endothermic process will have a much larger Ea value than its reverse exothermic process.

An endothermic reaction will "shift towards products" with an increase in temperature, because the rate of the forward reaction is more sensitive to temperature than the reverse due to its larger activation energy.
