### 16.65 part b

is the only way to find out whether this is endothermic or exothermic by using the equation ∆G° = -RTlnK? How else would you be able to do this as this is thermodynamics?

I'm assuming this is for 15.65 part b.

For an endothermic reaction, the activation energy of the forward reaction will be higher than the activation energy of the reverse reaction.
For an exothermic reaction, the activation energy of the reverse reaction will be higher than the activation energy of the forward reaction.
