## Arrhenius Graph

### Arrhenius Graph

Are the axis always going to be 1/T for the x axis and ln(k) for the y axis? And why or why not?

Yes, these will be the axes b/c it will result in a straight line with a negative slope. The slope of the line is equal to the activation energy/R. You can think of it as being in the slope-intercept form y=mx+b

Hello Jason,
A linear plot has the form y=mx+b. For the Arrhenius equation, the linear form is obtained when you plot lnK vs 1/T. -Ea / R will be your slope.
