### Collisions/Temperature dependence

Can anyone explain this, it's from the Kinetics outline:

Explain how the collision model and activated complex model account for the temperature
dependence of reactions.

I think it's talking about how if there are more collisions, that means the temperature is rising.

Collison model refers to how an increase in temperature allows more collisions to occur at the correct kinetic rate in order for the reactants to interact. The activated complex model account refers to the activated energy required for a reaction to take place to allow the transition state to form when enough energy is provided. An increase in temperature in these cases may result in the formation of more products or reactants depending on whether the reaction is exothermic or endothermic.
