k(1)/k(-1)
What does k(1)/k(-1) mean? Why do we use it in our rate law? Mostly I just can't conceptualize what it means or how we find k(-1).

Re: k(1)/k(-1)
k is referring to the rate of the forward reaction while k' is referring to the rate of the reverse reaction

Re: k(1)/k(-1)
If we want to express both can we use Kc? For example, can we use Kc when doing pre-equilibrium calculations?
