In the Arrhenius equation k=Ae^-Ea/RT, A is the "pre-exponential factor" or frequency factor, the frequency of collisions and their orientation, Ea is the activation energy, T is temperature, and R is the universal gas constant.

Yes, the Arrhenius equation is used to measure/calculate what happens to the rate constant (and the rate of the reaction) when a change in temperature occurs.
Does this mean that the Arrhenius equation needs to be used when a catalyst is used and there is a temp change or just if there is a temperature change at all? Also, how does this come into play with a biological example? i.e what does it look like in nature?
