What is the purpose of using the Arrhenius equation?

The Arrhenius equation relates the rate constant to temperature and activation energy.

The purpose is to find the k value of a reaction (products or reactants favored) based on activation energy, temperature, and frequency factor (“the efficiency of a collision”)

The Arrhenius equation can be used to determine the effect of a change of temperature on the rate constant, and consequently on the rate of the reaction. If the rate constant doubles, for example, so does the rate of the reaction
