What is the relationship between Boltzmann Distribution and the Arrhenius Equation?

The Boltzmann Distribution shows the distribution of the energy of particles based on their temperature. Similarly, the Arrhenius equation gives the rate of a reaction in terms of its activation energy and temperature. Both show the relationship between activation energy/kinetic energy and temperature.

Since Boltzman equation is related to thermodynamics and Arrhenius is related to kinetics, does that mean that boltzman has to do with how much energy is being transferred and Arrhenius is related to how fast energy is transferred?
