### Equilibrium Constant

Is the equilibrium constant the same in the presence of a catalyst because the forward and reverse reaction rate increase the same so the ratio stays the same?

A catalyst does not affect equilibrium constant. Only temperature, in think, affects K.

A catalyst does not affect the value of the equilibrium constant or the position of equilibrium. This is because adding a catalyst to a chemical reaction speeds both the forward and reverse reaction by the same rate.
