Frequency Factor
Can you do anything to affect the frequency factor in the Arrhenius Equation of a reaction (like increase the in temperature), or is it just seen as specific to each reaction?

According to this website: https://chem.libretexts.org/Bookshelves ... _Chemistry)/Kinetics/06%3A_Modeling_Reaction_Kinetics/6.02%3A_Temperature_Dependence_of_Reaction_Rates/6.2.03%3A_The_Arrhenius_Law/6.2.3.06%3A_The_Arrhenius_Law_-_Pre-exponential_Factors#:~:text=As%20temperature%20increases%2C%20molecules%20move,affect%20the%20collision%20frequency%2C%20A.
Even though A is often described as temperature-independent, A is actually affected by temperature because "as temperature increases, molecules move faster; as molecules move faster, they are more likely to collide and therefore affect the collision frequency, A".
I think for us in Chem 14B we can just assume that it's independent!

Re: Frequency Factor
For this class, we can consider it independent because it varies so little but technically it will increase with temperature.

Re: Frequency Factor
For this class you can probably assume that it won't change. The frequency factor is practically a constant for its own reaction.

Re: Frequency Factor
For this class I think we can assume it will not change and that any values we need will be given to us.
