Zero Order

Postby Armita Shadfar 1D » Wed Mar 13, 2024 10:36 am

Will we have to know when to identify a zero order reaction when the enzyme is said to take part in the equation?

Enzyme reactions are zero order because the rates are independent of substrate concentrations if the enzyme is working at maximum capacity. However, my TA said that we won't have to worry about finding the rate reaction for a zero order enzyme reaction on the exam.
