How does the collision model help to account for the temperature dependence of reactions?

It helps us determine which collisions occur with enough energy to overcome the activation energy. This helps us determine A in the Arrhenius equation

It helps us know how many collisions occur with sufficient energy to cause a reaction to occur. The higher the temperature, the more collisions with sufficient energy.
