You might want to know how nitric oxide (homogeneous catalyst -- meaning the catalyst is in the same phase as the reactants) catalyzes the conversion of oxygen to ozone in the lower atmosphere.
In this process, NO serves as the catalyst while NO2 is an intermediate.

It would probably be good to review, but since we have access to the textbook if needed, I wouldn't focus on it.

I have seen some questions on the ozone, but to be honest, the environmental implications aren't essential to solving the question itself, its mostly just contextualization that has nothing to do with the problem
