Hi all, I was a bit confused by Dr. Lavelle's email yesterday, which stated:
Reminder that to receive the Respondus 8 bonus points you must do 1 and 2:
1. Login to CCLE and check Respondus works
AND
2. Select the correct answer while taking your final.
Based on this email, if we correctly answered the Respondus question on the final and answered it during the check, is he giving out 8 extra credit points? I thought that these points were already included in our score like the two midterms, so I just wanted to double check.
Thanks!

To clarify, he is saying that you need to test respondus and view the question prior to the final AND get the same question right on the exam to get points. No extra credit.
Re: Lavelle Email from 12/4/21 - Extra Credit
I think it will be the same as it was for the midterms, it's just a question we know the answer to so we should automatically get it right and get the points for it.

if we forgot to launch the browser before but still get the question right does that mean we will not recieve the 8 points?

I think it's like before where we test respondus with that question, but since we have already seen we should recognize the correct answer on the final, it's not extra credit its more like given points since you already know the answer to the question.

Ohh, yea I figured it would be included in the score likewise to the other two midterms we've taken. Does anyone know if there's going to be a curve for the final?

I think it depends on seeing if there were any questions missed across the board that lavelle may reevaluate.
