Re: Grades
On the syllabus he said "This class does not use a curve," so I don’t think he'll adjust the grades.

Re: Grades
In the past comments, I have seen that he does adjust the grades (the final grades) but not the tests or anything like that.

Re: Grades
At the end of the class (after the final and everything), Lavelle will look at the class average and adjust grades based on that. The syllabus goes into more depth about this.

Re: Grades
I'm not too sure, so don't quote me on this. But won't the average be curved to a B- or something like that (if the average raw score is lower than a B-)? I've heard that in people's examples for how Lavelle will curve the overall grade, but I don't know for certain.

Re: Grades
On the syllabus it says a 50% is needed to pass with a C- or higher and so I assume thats a curve in and of itself

Re: Grades
I am a bit confused by the grading but it sounds like the whole class is rounding comparative to everyone else's total score out of 500.

Re: Grades
From my understanding, I believe he curves the class at the end based on the class average, but I am not too sure how.

Re: Grades
I have heard that if you receive 250 points out of the 500 you should be able to pass the class with a C-
