How to relax
What do you guys like to do to relax when not doing work? I usually watch Netflix, play with my dog, or play video games.

Whenever I am feeling stressed out from class, I normally relax with a nice cup of coffee and a snack. No matter how stressed I was before, this always helps me chill out for at least a few minutes.

I usually listen to music that's not too fast/hype or just watch shows that make me laugh. A nap is always good too so you can just reset or even taking a break to eat something.

Since quarantine started, I have found that going on walks and listening to music can be a nice way to clear your mind and still got some sort of exercise in without the physical strain. I also feel more relaxed after laying at the beach or a dip in the ocean.

I love revisiting my childhood by watching all of my past favorite television shows. Furthermore, I find this so interesting as I am able to see the show from a different perspective than I did as a 6th grader in middle school. This allows me to understand parts of the show that I never was able to understand before (due to my young unintelligence lol).

I either find a new show to watch or just get lost on tiktok--the time literally passes by so quickly while I'm on tiktok. All of said activities also include eating, so I'll usually try and cook too while I'm on my phone.

oh my gosh thank you for putting up this question! It's so important to remember to relax and enjoy the journey however corny it sounds:) To relax I love going outside and backpacking. Even its just for a single overnighter trip, it lets me forget about all my stress and honestly just reminds me that its not worth it to feel so stressed that we aren't happy. And honestly food helps with stress too lol!

After many hours of sitting in front of a screen, I try and get some physical activity and take my eyes off of any sort of electronics which is what I find relaxing. Whether it's working out, going for a run, or just socializing with family, the last thing I do is check my phone or engage in any more screentime than necessary.

I usually do some hobbies like painting and drawing while listening to music. I become focused on that activity and forget everything else so it's very calming.
Re: How to relax
I used to watch Netflix, but stopped because I would get hooked and fall behind on schoolwork. Now, I just call my friends and see how they're doing.

I think it's really important to spend time away from the screen and to rest your eyes, especially now with all these online classes. I usually like to take a nap and play with my dog. I also think stretching is very necessary because it helps ease the tension in your muscles and prevent you from having bad posture from hunching over the computer all day :)

I love doing this too. It's really eye-opening how many shows have hidden messages or more "adult" jokes when you rewatch them. Spongebob is one of the shows that I always revisit, especially the Krusty Krab on strike episode.
