Final Exam Structure

Do you guys know how the final is structured? Will it be evenly split between the three different parts of the quarter (33%,33%,33%), or will the weeks after midterm 2 have more questions (20%,20%,40% for example)?

I don't think this has been announced yet. I checked the syllabus and it does not specify the content distribution of the exam, so I think we will have to wait for Dr. Lavelle to notify us.

Lavelle will probably let us know closer to the exam date. Like Amanda already said the syllabus doesn't specify anything about content distribution, only that it is cumulative.

Hopefully, there will be a larger proportion of questions from the new things we are learning because it is more fresh in our minds.

I was wondering the same thing. I think Dr. Lavelle will let us know in a couple of days or you can try to ask your TA about it.

If its like other classes I am taking, there is usually more emphasis on the material that we learn in the later weeks, but I am not sure so don't take my word for it!

I'm not sure how the specific structure will be for this class, but as someone else mentioned above, usually classes emphasize new material on the final but still include some older material to make sure that we retain information throughout the quarter.

I'm not sure for this class, but in my experience the newer material tends to be emphasized more than the old
