Homework on Achieve
Did the professor explain how we are going to the homework on Achieve? Is it like Gradescope? Will he talk about it next week?

Yes I will talk about Achieve next week. :-)
It will be ready Monday or Tuesday. You will like what I have done with multiple hints, etc.

Are the textbook homework questions mandatory? Will we be turning them into Achieve?

I'm pretty sure that the textbook questions on the syllabus are not graded for credit, only for practice

Is it graded based on completion or accuracy?

I would assume accuracy because there are unlimited attempts, but I am not sure about that. Sorry.

Re: Homework on Achieve
Considering how for another class of mine we lose points despite unlimited attempts (the less attempts the better score), I believe we will just have to wait and see until it is discussed in class!

Re: Homework on Achieve
I assumed due to the unlimited amount of attempts we could try the questions until we got them right, but that's interesting that in other classes you can lose points for multiple attempts! Hopefully that is not the case for this class.

Re: Homework on Achieve
Does anyone know if we are supposed to finish all the assignments listed for week 1, like "math review for chem 14a" or the "practice drawing molecules", or are they just references? Is only the assignment titled "Week 1 HW" due?
