Lectures

Postby Karla Vega » Fri Sep 24, 2021 3:28 pm

Does anyone know how long the lectures will be up? Will they be up the entirety of the quarter or will they go away at the end of the day?

Based to my understanding on what he said, the lectures will be there for the whole quarter so we can review them as often as we would like. :)

From Dr. Lavelle's email:

The objective is to give you the same in class presentation and content but with the added benefit that you can watch it, and re-watch it, from any location at any time.

So they should be up for the whole quarter.

Does anyone know what day and time his actual live lectures are? And where they are held?

I think the only live ones are the in person options, which are in Young CS50

Are there only a portion of students taking the in-person classes? Because all of my lectures are online while my discussion with my TA is in-person in Boelter. Just wanted to know if anyone was on the same boat!

Did anyone else have an issue with the recorded lecture from Sept 23 cutting off early when it was posted on ccle? When I was watching it back it cut off abruptly and there seemed to be more content that was discussed at the live lecture.

There was no more content. That was it. I finished covering empirical and molecular formulas.

There are both online lectures and in person lectures which is the same for discussions. I also have an online lecture and an in-person discussion!
