Macmillian learning ligand sheet

Postby 305670352 » Sun Nov 28, 2021 10:41 pm

Does anyone know if we are expected to memorize the info on the Macmillian learning ligand sheet from achieve week 9 or if we can bring a print out into the midterm with us?

On Lavelle's website, we aren't allowed to bring anything other than a calculator, periodic table, and the equations sheet with us to the final. Hopefully, the final will not be testing us so much on the stuff on the ligand sheet because that is a lot to memorize.

The ligand sheet is a great sheet to memorize. It can help a lot on naming and can help speed up the process when doing the problems. On top of the ligands on the sheet, it would probably be good to memorize the most common polyatomic ions and their charges so that when finding the oxidation number of the metal, it will be quick.
