Homework Assignment?

Postby Selby Kia 1L » Sun Sep 25, 2016 11:19 am

I noticed in the announcements that Dr. Lavelle posted "omit M21 in the homework." Does anyone know what homework he is referring to and where I can find the assignment? We didn't really cover any new material on the first day of class, so I'm not sure what the homework would be on.

Dr. Lavelle is referring to the homework problems listed in the beginning of the course reader. M21 is problem number 21 in Fundamentals Section M in the textbook.

Do we have to do anything before tomorrow's lecture?

If you look at your syllabus under "Review of Physical and Chemical Principles", there is a list of problems that we are supposed to do for homework. He's referring to M21 in that section.

I'm sure that those are review problems that Dr. Lavelle wants us to go through our high school materials; therefore, it might not influence the tomorrow lecture I believe... You can complete it at later time. But you'd better complete it sooner the better, cuz in your discussion sessions, your TAs might go through the problems with you (I have already had a discussion session).

Hi All,

I am referring to the review of high-school chemistry topics as discussed in class and in the course reader.
