I believe both would be equally valid, wouldn't it? By writing the Noble Gas configuration, however, I think already implies that you know what the "expanded" configuration would be, so since scientists are notoriously lazy, I think the Noble Gas configuration should be sufficient.
Like the person above said both ways are technically correct but the point of using the noble gas abbreviation is to make writing the configuration shorter and simpler so I think [Kr] would be more appropriate.
