Midterm Review

Postby Nicole Jacobs 1C » Mon Oct 30, 2017 1:01 pm

Is there a website or place where I can look at previous midterm problems to prepare for our midterm next Thursday?

There is not. However, come to Peer Learning Sessions and office hours to go through problems related to the midterm! Your homework problems are a good representation of the midterm, and some of the UAs give out worksheets covering problems as well.

For the midterm, will we be expected to write the compounds/ions given the written name or will the molecular formula of compounds/ions be given to us? (I mean like will we be given just sulfate ion, or will be told that a sulfite ion is SO3^2-?)

Will there be a review session beside the UA sessions? Like a session wherein it's not just for student questions but also going over all the past topics?

Is it still useful to attend the review sessions if you don't have any questions to ask? Or are they only for discussing problems?
