What the Midterm Will Cover

Postby Ava Kjos 1D » Sat Nov 03, 2018 9:02 pm

On the Midterm information sheet posted on the website it says that the midterm will cover up to 2C in the 7th edition and 3.11 in the 6th edition. However, in class on Friday and in some of the review sessions we went into the properties of bonds (which is 2D in the 7th edition). Is it possible that questions from 2D will appear on the midterm?

I believe that questions about the properties of bonds will not appear on the midterm because professor Lavelle said that midterm material that will appear on the test will be up to what we covered in lecture on Wednesday.

On the midterms review session schedule, it says that it will be all material covered in Fundamentals, Quantum, Bonding to end of 3.11 (6 Ed.) and to end of 2C (7 Ed.).

Are there any past exams Lavelle has released? I received an email from a third party saying there was a study guide on their website. Does anyone think it will be helpful?

Going over the exercises in the book will help prepare for the exam.
