About the test

Postby Brianna Brockman 1F » Tue Dec 04, 2018 11:53 am

All the stuff prior to the most recent test last week... can we assume that if it hasn't been tested in the tests or midterm that it won't be on the final? Or is literally everything fair game?

Lavelle said that everything in the syllabus will be covered on the final, so I think that anything is fair game. I think he said at least 1 problem per outline, possibly 2 for some.

On Dr. Lavelle's website, he said "Questions will come from the Homework and Online Assessments." and "Final exam covers everything in the Syllabus." - everything is fair game.

Also, there's some things we learnt later on in the course that we wouldn't be able to do without knowing concepts in the beginning, so since everything is linked you would probably be expected to know everything anyways!

Are we going to get the same equation sheet for the final thats been on the tests? Trying to figure out if I need to memorize any equations.

He did say that there were only going to be 8 questions on the test though, so they must be multi-layered

Is it likely that concepts we have not been tested on before would be more likely to appear on the final?
