Past exams

Postby Jingyao Chen 4H » Sun Dec 01, 2019 7:39 pm

Is there a way to see past exams/finals problems for this class? Do they have it in the library? I hope to find questions that are similar to the actual final in order to prepare for my final this quarter.

There might be something in the test bank if you want to check it out.

There are test banks, I believe there is one at the student activities center (but you have to submit a test first), that have previous tests. I know some clubs/orgs on campus have their own ones as well.

The Community Programs Office in the Student Activities Center on campus has a test bank of previous finals and tests that students may have previously submitted in past quarters. I'm not sure if Lavelle's tests are there, but I feel like there's a good chance especially because this class has been taught for so long. If it's your first quarter at UCLA, all you need to do is show your BruinCard, but otherwise, you need to submit one of your old exams or essays (can be from any class) in order to access and print exams. Hope this helped!

I'm almost 99% sure that the Test Bank isn't allowed to take Lavelle's tests. Thus, there would be no previous exams for this class there. I think the best legal option is to do Lyndon's Marshmallow review since they're inspired on previous test questions. But, the illegal option is to probably ask Chem 14A veterans for any tests they might have saved lol.

I'm pretty sure the test bank does not carry his old tests unfortunately.

You can try asking people who have taken the class before and see if they have any past exams and are generous enough to give them to you.
