Turning in textbook problems
I know we are required to turn in the sampling problems through the website but are we required to turn in the textbook problems as well? And, if so, how/where would we turn them in?

Re: Turning in textbook problems
I am pretty sure we just need to turn in the sapling homework. I believe the other homework is just for practice and not for a grade but correct me if I am wrong!

Re: Turning in textbook problems
We only turn in the Sapling homework for a grade; the textbook problems are just for extra practice and are there for our own benefit.

Re: Turning in textbook problems
The textbook problems are just extra practice. Some of them are used during discussion or office hours to make sure you grasp the concepts. I would try to do at least a couple of the textbook problems in addition to the Sapling to make sure you fully understand the material.

Re: Turning in textbook problems
The sapling is the only thing required to be turned, but the textbook problems are good practice for our midterms.

Correct! Sapling is the only graded homework assignment that needs to be turned in according to the end of the section covered in class. The current due dates are the end of week 1 and the end of week 3. All other textbook problems are optional but will likely help in review for midterms and final.

Re: Turning in textbook problems
I am looking to do some of the textbook fundamentals questions for extra practice, but I am having a hard time finding where they are in the e-text. Are they somewhere in the fundamentals section, or is there a certain page I should go to?

In the e-text, they should be in the fundamentals section. After each fundamental section reading, there will be the questions that go with that topic, so it should be just below it. Hope this helps!
Re: Turning in textbook problems
I would definitely do some textbook problems (even if they're not graded for credit) as the prof. says that some of the questions from the exams will be taken from the textbook.
