Question about Midterms
I had a quick question about the midterms. Will we be allowed to have a printout of the periodic table for like molarity questions? Or will they be provided on the exam. Same with things like the speed of light, plank's constant, etc. Are we expected to memorize all of that? Or can we have a sheet with just those on it? Thank you!

Re: Question about Midterms
I'm pretty sure we aren't expected to memorize the constants and will be allowed to have sheets of both the periodic table and constants with us. But I'm sure it would be nice to memorize some of the constants that are often used.

Re: Question about Midterms
lol sorry for replying again but I just saw that we will probably be given the same periodic table for the exams so that everyone would use the same numbers for things like molar mass!

Re: Question about Midterms
Like Sandra said, I'm sure we don't have to memorize any formula's or constants, and we could have a print out of the material. However, what I would recommend using is the periodic table and formulas he has on his class website.

Re: Question about Midterms
I have been using a printed version of the periodic table provided on the class website. Will this be the same one we are able to use on exams?

Re: Question about Midterms
Does anyone know if we'll also be given the wavelengths corresponding to the different regions of the EM spectrum, or will we need to just know it?

I think that we might need to remember the wavelengths corresponding to visible light, but that's about it. However, it might be helpful to know the order of the different regions on the EM spectrum.

Re: Question about Midterms
I think we'll be given a periodic table and a sheet with all the constants.
