Hi would we be allowed to use an ipad/tablet to do work our work when completing the exam? Or is it preferred for us to use paper and pen?

I think they would prefer paper and pen solely because the iPad could be used for other things that are not allowed during the examination.

Yes. Probably best to use a paper and pen unless you can install the program that locks the screen like we are doing for our computer for the actual exam.

My TA said as long as a webcam shows our work that we aren’t accessing other tools it should be fine!

I think you should try to stick to a paper and pencil, because if you are using device for the exam they won't be able to be sure if you are being honest. However, you could talk to your TA and see with them if it's ok, because our workspace will be monitored during the exams anyways.

Also regarding exams, I wanted to confirm that constants will be given to us. This is correct right? Because I remember him saying that we didn't need to memorize constants in one of our lectures.

There will be a sheet given to us with constants and equations on the exam so we won't have to memorize those. This sheet could be found on the website under "Constants and Equations."

Do you guys have any idea how partial credit is going to be awarded to us on exams since everything is online? Is there even going to be any partial credit?

If we are given the constants sheet, are we also going to be given a conversion sheet for cm to m, or do we just need to already know how to do those?

Does anyone know if we have asked if webcams can be another device? I don't want to go buy a webcam.

We can use our phones for a webcam, but our phone camera has to be angled so the TA can see our workspace.
