Re: Midterm Scores
Dr. Lavelle has not stated anything specific regarding midterm scores yet. I know some TA's said scores would be posted after the last discussion section took the exam, but I also heard that there is a possibility for partial credit, which might mean the grading will take a few days.

Re: Midterm Scores
The grades will probably take some time since there hasn’t been any grading updated on CCLE yet for any of the other assignments.

Re: Midterm Scores
I heard someone say they are going through each exam so it might end up taking a while but nothing has specifically been said.

Re: Midterm Scores
I heard that we were going to get the scores after the last discussion section took the exam but since we have not gotten them yet, I have just been looking for an email from Dr. Lavelle.

Re: Midterm Scores
I thought that scoring would be automatic but I think that it might take longer to be released, maybe some students still have to take the test?

Re: Midterm Scores
neither the professor nor TAs have said anything about our midterm scores but I believe they will be released soon since it was multiple choice and its been a few days since the midterm
Re: Midterm Scores
When do you get our midterm scores back and is there going to be a curve on this midterm

Re: Midterm Scores
I think this was asked previously in the chain but will midterm grades be curved? Or will overall grades be curved at the end of the year?

Re: Midterm Scores
Not sure if the midterms will be curved, I think the class did pretty decent overall so they might not adjust anything. Some say that Lavelle adds a couple of points to boost our grades but thats about it.

Re: Midterm Scores
Yeah Professor Lavelle sent an email saying we had an 86% average and a 5% boost for installing respondus. Which overall is a pretty decent average.

Re: Midterm Scores
The midterm was posted today with our scores on CCLE in the grades section on the left hand side:) I was not able to look at the problems I missed but hopefully we will be able to whether that be in discussion or if Professor Lavelle releases the test.

Re: Midterm Scores
You can't review your actual midterm but if you ask your TA to go over concepts that you got wrong mine helped me with that.

Do you think we'll ever be able to see what we got wrong? It helps studying a lot to know what you missed on the last test.

My TA said he wasn't too sure when Lavelle would let us see what we got wrong but he did say that if Lavelle doesn't end up posting our answers, we can personally ask our TAs to let us know which questions we got wrong :)
