Midterm 2 Questions
Are the amount of questions on midterm 2 going to be roughly the same amount as the amount of questions on midterm 1?

Re: Midterm 2 Questions
From what I Understand there are going to be more lower point value questions becuase this test has less math involve.

Re: Midterm 2 Questions
Possibly, but there might be a little more since the topics are less math-y. I did hear people talking about this upcoming exam having more questions so it's not as easy to lose points, but not totally sure.

Re: Midterm 2 Questions
I think there was an announcement made about the type of questions on Midterm 2- He said there would be shorter and lower point questions so I assume that means there will be more of such questions.

Hi! I think there will be more questions on MT 2 based on a recent email from Dr. Lavelle. He also said that they will take less time to complete so it would balance out in terms of time. Hope this helps!

Re: Midterm 2 Questions
I believe there is going to be more questions, but these questions are shorter in the work needed to complete them. Hope this helps!

Re: Midterm 2 Questions
My TA said that there are going to be questions that have less calculations, so there will more likely be more questions that are shorter than the first midterm!

Re: Midterm 2 Questions
To add on, I was told that there won't be any partial credit for the next midterm most likely.
Since there are more questions that are shorter and more conceptual, these questions won't involve too many calculations

Re: Midterm 2 Questions
From the workshop today, Michael told us that the questions are going to be shorter because they're not math-based. However, he said the midterm should be around the same length as the last midterm because it should be faster to answer these questions.

Re: Midterm 2 Questions
Will we be provided any more helpful sheets like the equation sheet and periodic table?

Re: Midterm 2 Questions
In Lavelle's email, he wrote that midterm 2 would be shorter because there has been less material covered. Midterm 2 will only cover any new material learned not covered in midterm 1.

I think the equation sheet and periodic table are the same as the one from midterm 1.

Re: Midterm 2 Questions
Hi! Good question, I wanted to ask the same thing. I do know from Dr. Lavelle's recent email that the topics covered in our MT2 are shorter questions, so we should therefore expect shorter and lower point questions. I hope this helps! Good luck.

Re: Midterm 2 Questions
We can most likely expect more questions with each worth a less amount of points due to the nature of the material being covered. 50 minutes with more questions without calculations is feasible.

Re: Midterm 2 Questions
Hi! I think Professor Lavelle mentioned that there are going to be more questions with less points each for this midterm.

Re: Midterm 2 Questions
I think like he did for MT1, he will send an email beforehand to let us know how many questions there will be on the exam. But yes, I do think there will be more questions. Good luck!

Re: Midterm 2 Questions
According to Prof Lavelle's last email, this midterm will have more, lower point, shorter questions than the last.
