CHEM14B Asynchronous

Does anybody know if CHEM14B with Lavelle is asynchronous?

I think it will be, but Dr. Lavelle doesn't recommend overlapping 14B with another class since the exams might take place during the lecture time.

On myucla, it says that the lectures will be online-recorded, so it might be the same way that it is right now. I am not completely sure though!

Dr. Lavelle said on another post that he is not completely sure if the asynchronous lectures will continue next semester because there is a lot involved to keep it going. He recommends to avoid overlapping classes because Chem 14B could have tests during your lecture time.

in an email he sent he said he isn't sure how he will set up class for winter classes.

I am wondering whether to wait on switching one of my classes to not overlap with one of his chem lectures. Would the midterms probably be in the middle of the week (wednesday)? Was this how it was in the past?
