The final is held on the weekend. It isn't during class time or discussion section.

Under test and exam schedule on Dr. Lavelle's website, it says that the final will be on Sunday December 13 from 11:30am – 1pm. There is also an alternative time for international students. Hope this helps! :)

The final takes place Sunday of finals week (Dec 13th) from 11:30 am-1 pm. There's some information on the class website under Test and Exam schedule.

Normally you can find the date and time for finals on myucla under your class planner for all of your classes. It tells you right under the name of the class. It is a little different this year though due to some of the classes changing their exams to 24 hours and other factors.

Does this mean that since we are taking it between 11:30-1 as a entire class that it'll be through zoom how the midterms were in our discussion? or just a take home final and academic integrity ?

That’s a good question, I don’t think they have stated exactly how the proctoring will work yet but it should be mentioned in this upcoming week. I would believe they would want us to login to a zoom proctored by our TAs so that it could be easier to make sure everything is going smoothly and of course no cheating.

I believe there will be one large zoom meeting with breakout rooms that will be proctored, but these details might change as we get closer to the final.

He has not said how the final will be proctored. I assume it will be similar to the earlier midterms and I believe it is in the same multiple-choice format as the midterms.
