Re: UA vs Step-Up Sessions
Both UA and step-up sessions are great ways to get extra help and practice, but step-up sessions are more detailed and slower paced than UA sessions. If you need more help in understanding a concept, step-up sessions are recommended since they go step by step through explanations.
Re: UA vs Step-Up Sessions [ENDORSED]
Hi! Just to clarify, all peer learning sessions are led by UAs! These sessions include Step-Up sessions, Workshops, and Drop-ins. As Jagveer mentioned, Step-Up sessions typically are slower paced and the problems are broken down in more detail. Workshops are generally faster paced and cover a larger volume or scope of problems. Drop-in sessions are similar to office hours with your TA, but with a UA instead.
