Final

Postby Matlynn Giles 2E » Sat Dec 05, 2020 5:14 pm

Will the final be similar to how the midterms were conducted? Will we need a secondary device to video?

I'm sure they would be fairly similar or else he would have informed us otherwise, so I assume you would need a secondary device.

I believe it will be fairly similar to the two midterms, just with more questions, I think 30 this time, and it will be cumulative . And most likely we will be using a secondary device for the test.

There haven't been more instructions so I would expect it to be the same as the previous two exams

As everyone else is saying, I think the final will be conducted similarly to the midterms. If anything changes, I'm sure we'll be informed.

I'm confused about how the final will be since everyone is taking it at the same time? Should we still just use our normal discussion link?

I'm pretty sure it will be the same discussion link, or TAs will send a new one.

I believe they'll be very similar otherwise we would have been informed. I would suspect it would once again be on a lockdown browser with a second device on a zoom call.

The final should be the same structure as the midterms.

It is most likely that the final will be very similar to the midterms. I believe it is zoom proctored and we would still need a second device to show our set-up.

I believe it is similar, just, maybe more questions since they are giving us more time to complete it.

Yes, I think proctoring is the same, but the exam is 30 questions, 6 pts each.

Do you know how much time we're being given?

The structure of the final exam will be similar to those of midterms. I believe later this week, we will receive all the information we need.

Yes in Lavelle's reviews he should talk about the format and details for the final but it should be the same format and set up as the midterms.

I think that our TAs will also likely tell us what we need to know in discussion this week!

Yes the final will be conducted similar to the midterms. The main difference for the final is that everyone will take the exam at the same time (except for international students who have an alternative time to accommodate their distance).

As others have stated, it will be pretty much the same as our past two midterms. The final will be 30 questions that are each 6 points, however.

I agree with what is being said above, the final will likely be the same set up as the midterms where we will need the secondary device to be running a zoom call.

Yes, I believe it will be similar in terms of having to setup a second device. However, we will be using a different zoom link compared to previous exams.

I think everything will be the same except it's not going to take place during our discussion time.
