I did too with Ow, and from what I've heard is reading the textbook and doing the practice problems inside it too REALLY help and are important, not just as supplements to Lavelle's recorded lectures.

Something that seems optional but should be mandatory is definitely doing the textbook problems and going to the peer learning sessions. It's fairly hard to retain the information just by taking notes from lecture and doing sapling, so going to the learning sessions help a lot.

For 14A, I think we had to memorize them anyway but I had Ow so maybe it's different. But it wouldn't hurt to spend an extra half hour to memorize the lists.

I think so! as long as you are posting and participating in discussions throughout the community for 14b you should be good (asking questions or responding to other or leaving helpful study tips).

The sapling questions are graded so those are the most important, but the textbook problems are very important to ensure that you actually understand the material and are prepared for exams.

The Sapling Questions are more important because it's part of what is graded, but the textbook problems are something you should also give your attention on. I heard that Lavelle uses all examples for his exams.

I found both super helpful for the first midterm!! The textbook problems actually go through some really good problems/concepts that aren't on the Sapling, so I would recommend both!!

yes, it should be all material we learned after midterm one. Lavelle will send out the exact info but it's all gonna be thermo stuff so that would only be the last two saplings yeah
