CHEM COMMUNITY SCORES

Postby JTieu_1L » Mon Mar 15, 2021 12:08 pm

Are chem community scores additive, meaning the scores are based on how many posts total?

Yes the scores are additive. Your chemistry community grade should update each week based on the number of times you have posted so far.

Yup Dr. Lavelle sent out an email saying that good chemistry community responses would make up for any missing chemistry community points for the quarter.

Okay so it is possible to try and regain lost points of the weeks by putting in extra this week?

Yes I believe so! If you check under the grades tab on CCLE you should be able to see your score, but if you want to double check you could email your TA

Chemistry community scores are additive and I believe we have until tomorrow (Tuesday) morning to make up points if we missed any posts throughout the quarter. As long as you have 50 posts for the quarter by then you should get full credit!

I was just about to ask when the chemistry community scores are due. Thanks!

Will all posts count or only specific ones? For example is asking a question counted, or only answering a question?

Both asking a question and answering a question count towards your Chemistry Community points!

Thank you Katie! I appreciate your response. I'm glad to know that asking questions counts too, because I ask a lot of them sometimes!

No problem! I think it's specifically 9am PST tomorrow morning, it says in Dr. Lavelle's last email sent out this afternoon!
