Audio-Visual Focus Topics
When are the audio-visual focus topics (besides the first 4) due? Like the photoelectric, atomic spectra, wave properties, etc. ones

Re: Audio-Visual Focus Topics
They are completed by the end of each section I cover in class.
Fundamentals we finish Wednesday this week, Week 1.
This Friday we start Quantum.
Quantum is several weeks long. Should plan to finish them by the end of Week 3.

I thought those videos technically don't have a set due date, but they are highly recommended to use because they add onto the topics we are learning about in class.

Re: Audio-Visual Focus Topics
At the end of the audio-visual instructions posted on the website (https://lavelle.chem.ucla.edu/wp-conten ... Topics.pdf) it says:
By the end of Week 2 all students must have completed the following four modules (pre-assessment, video, post-assessment and survey).
• Photoelectric Effect
• Atomic Spectra and the Bohr Frequency Condition
• Wave Properties of Electrons and the De Broglie Equation
• Heisenberg Uncertainty Equation
However, the unofficial "due dates" may change as we progress, so it's probably better to finish them by the time we finish the topics in class.

Re: Audio-Visual Focus Topics
Are the audio-visual focus topics graded for completion/accuracy? Or are they just recommended to do well in the class?
Re: Audio-Visual Focus Topics
The audio-visual focus topics are not graded, but it's a good review for upcoming content.
Re: Audio-Visual Focus Topics
Are the videos between the Molarity and Dilution and the Photoelectric effect Audio-Visual Modules also videos that should be watched by next week? The three videos include Wave Properties of Light, Classical Mechanics vs. Quantum Mechanics, and Photon Properties of Light.

Hi! These video modules are optional but we are encouraged to watch them. In the Chem14A website it says that "the additional modules, not labeled Steps 1-3, will also be helpful but are optional."

Are the problems listed on the outline in the Learning Section of the Chem 14A website due for submission and to be graded? Or is that just to help us practice our skills?

I think those will not be turned in or graded. As far as I know they are just additional practice.
