Midterm 1 Scrap Paper

Postby Simone Byun 1F » Thu Oct 21, 2021 11:43 am

I was wondering what we are allowed to have with us during the midterm. I have printed out the equation sheet and periodic table, but are we allowed to have any scrap paper or anything else with us?

Hi,

As far as I know, we are allowed to have a blank paper and pencil for scratch work, as well as the printouts and a scientific or graphing calculator. Hope this was helpful!

Hi Simone,

Here is a part of the "Midterm1 Details" that Professor Lavelle posted on his website:
Students need a calculator, blank paper for rough work, Constants and
Equations, and Periodic Table. No paper should have anything written on it and
will be shown to your TA/proctor at the beginning of both midterms and the final.

Best with studying and midterms!

For the midterm, we are allowed to print out the equations and constant sheet that Dr. Lavelle provided for us (other versions are NOT accepted). You can also bring a calculator, scratch paper, and a pencil. There should be no writing on any of the papers and the TAs will be checking our papers before the start of the midterm.

Hi Simone! You are allowed to have scrap paper, and my TA recommended that you bring a few extra pieces if possible, just in case. Hope this helps!
