Final Exam Study Tips
As the final inches closer, I'm finding it really hard to study effectively because I get a lot of test anxiety.
Would anyone be willing to share some study tips that work for them so I could try?
Thank you!

Re: Final Exam Study Tips
What personally works best for me is doing practice problems. I think it is a good idea to go through all of the textbook problems that Dr. Lavelle lists in the outines of the "Learning Outcomes" on his website. Another thing that has been helpful for me is going to review sessions, workshops, and step-up sessions. The TAs and UAs usually go over the content and have more practice problems that you can do.

Do all of the practice problems, make a list of things you have to memorize, and attend as many UA/review sessions as possible! Also, review the Achieve homework for each unit and go over the worksheets your TA gave you in class if there are any. I hope this helps.

I would go through the Achieve homeworks because they are similar to the exam questions and it's good for practice.

I personally do all the practice problems in the textbook, and attend some UA sessions for some additional practice. I also re-read all my notes, especially the example problems done during lecture.

I would go back and review all of the achieve and syllabus problems. Attend UA workshops for more practice (they are super helpful in my opinion) and go to review sessions for the concepts you struggle on. Rewatch lectures for topics you don't feel too confident on.

I have been finding it helpful to go through the achieve problems, and run through the concepts in each outline and see if I can explain the basis of the concepts in my own words before doing the practice problems provided! I also hired a tutor, honestly having someone who can help explain it to you is so helpful, don't be shy to reach out to others.

I would go over the materials like the others said and make sure to keep checking in with yourself to see if you are understanding things. When doing practice problems its good to make sure you know why you are doing what you are doing so you can do it correct for other problems don't just copy or memorize.

I would definitely encourage the same thing! I have a tutor and I could tell you that it was the best decision because I am able to have a one-on-one conversation over a concept or topic I don't get. Also, if you need help, reach out to Learning Facilitators, peer tutors, or hire a tutor like the previous person, Madison, did.
