Study Tips

Postby 506003009 » Sat Mar 16, 2024 10:28 am

Does anyone have any study tips for the last day before the final? I've watched all the lectures, did all the HW, and did most of the practice problems, but I feel like I need to practice my conceptual understanding of the topics more. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to practice this?

I know what helps me to understand conceptually is finding worksheets online that cover the same topic as what has been said in the lecture and filling out the worksheets to see if I fully understand the topic in question. If I can't find a worksheet then I grab a piece of paper and focus on a section like electrochemistry and write down all of the details that I can remember, like I am explaining in detail to someone new to chemistry. Allowing me to use all of the conceptual knowledge to see if I understand the reasoning behind chemistry. Then if I can't remember or get something wrong I look back at my notes and write the explanation down three times. (still, the practice problems are the best)

Hi!!
I agree with the other reply! I also like to look up videos that explain the conceptual parts of the topics in a more simplified way!
You're going to do great! :)
