Specifically, Test 2 covers all topics on Gibbs free energy and electrochemistry (not including the Nernst equation). It really is up to you to see where you struggle more on in the homework and this should reflect what you need to focus more on for the test.

I feel like Gibbs is really just a couple of equations (deltaH-TdeltaS, standard Gibbs, Van't Hoff, etc.) while a lot can be asked about electrochemistry (Balancing redox equations, drawing a battery, explaining the use of inert metals/salt bridges, finding the voltage, etc.). That's just my opinion, which is skewed by the fact that I find Gibbs a bit easier due to the fact that it's just plugging in variables into equations.

Definitely electrochemistry because I struggled more with the electrochem homework problems in comparison to Gibbs Free Energy.

Test 2 covers all topics on Gibbs free energy and electrochemistry up to but not including the Nernst equation (which is all the new material covered in class Weeks 6 and 7).

Gibbs free energy, mainly because I dont know which equations to use in which situation. Dr.Lavelle gave us a lot to work with so its a little more confusing than some of the electrochem stuff we've been looking at.
